Hutsulia is located in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and is knownfor its needlework, woodcarving, weaving, pottery and pysanky (Easter eggs). Hutsuly (people from Hutsulia) traditionally use very complicatedgeometrical symbols for their pysanka's.  These pysanka's differ from the other with their brigh colors. The mostused colors in Hutsulian pysanka's are yellow, orange, red and black or dark redcolors.  Decorating their pysanky hutsuly are using images of plants and animals thatsurround them in daily life. They symbolize happiness and prosperity,aspecially horses, deers, squirrels, birds and fish. These symbols representancient pysanka traditions of this wonderful land.
