The British Army Land Rover is a 1:32 scale die-cast set released around 1976-1977 as part of the Britains "Deetail" military range. It includes a green short-wheelbase Land Rover in Special Forces livery, a Howitzer 4.5 field gun and two figures - a driver and a soldier kneeling behind the cab, resting his weapon on the roof.

This particular set is offered with an additional soldier, poised to throw a grenade.  There are also 7 shells for the field gun, 4 of which were sellotaped inside the tailgate of the Land Rover for safe-keeping by the 10 year old owner of the set nearly 40 years ago.

The Land Rover has clearly seen a bit of action: both wing mirrors are missing and the paintwork has suffered some loss, primarily from the front of the vehicle and the top of the cab.

There is also paint loss on some parts of the field gun, mostly around the muzzle and on the edges of the.gun shield.
