This piece was purchased from a collector of Native American artifacts. The original rawhide paint was nearly gone and they had an artist paint the image you see. The drum is very taught and all of the metal nail/tacks are in place. Sound is good. Note: I found one like this using AI that indicated it was Native Alaskan with caribou skin also from the 19th century.
