This is a bundle listing for a vintage Snap-on No. 71-M 1/2” drive ratchet made in the USA, paired with a Snap-on 5/8” SW200 shallow socket also marked Made in U.S.A. The ratchet carries patent number 1854513 and a 1951 date code. The socket carries a 1947 date code, making it the older of the two pieces. Both are desirable early USA-made Snap-on tools for collectors and working mechanics alike.

Pre-owned and used. The ratchet shows heavy patina, surface oxidation, and darkening across the entire body consistent with decades of shop use. The direction lever is present and intact. One retaining screw on the head is missing — please review close-up photos carefully. The drive square appears undamaged and the ratchet mechanism is visible in photos. Functionality has not been independently verified — sold as-is.

The Snap-on 5/8” SW200 socket (1947 date code) shows light surface wear and some faint hand-written markings on the body. The drive opening and socket opening appear undamaged. Also sold as-is.
