1961 Kahn's Registry Set Break!

NOTE: Lighthouse holo slab, beautiful and fresh. Probably graded 5 or so years ago based on the cert. Lovely card and very high end example. None graded higher! Thanks for looking.

I am presently breaking up a complete set of 1961 Kahn's. All cards are PSA graded, with nearly all of them graded very recently under the strictest of PSA standards. If you have experience with ebay graded slabs from 20-30 years ago vs. those graded in the past 2-3 years it is night and day. Easily 1++ grade points lower today for the same card. Which makes the cards you see here today all the more desirable - most of these are ultra low pop investment grade cards - just a veritable gauntlet to run to find 65 year old oversized cards worthy of such high grades. Many of the 6's & 7's listed in this batch look just as nice as any 8-9 you will find, so do keep that in mind. Furthermore the expense of grading today - minimum $45/ea with shipping and you will wait 6-8 months to get your cards back. And then? You will probably not see the numbers you hoped for on vintage grading. It is a humbling process.  Large photos shown, do feel free to inquire with questions.
