Hardback book in two volumes from a limited edition print run of 1025 copies, this being number 894, signed by the author in both volumes and dated 1897. The signature looks to read as GMth, please see my images for your own interpretation.

Covers have minor rub wear, tanning to spines and other minor marks and stains. Pages are hand cut and in good order. Not all of the pages have been opened; the unopened pages are throughout both books suggesting that the two volumes have never been read. The pages have a special water-mark of GM contained in a circle. I have tried to capture this in one of my images though it is very faint in the photo. The closed page edges are mostly handcut and the top edge has a gilt finish. The pages are all clean and tidy, there is some splitting between the back board and the back endpaper on volume one, please see my image.
