For auction is a very nice collection of old hydrometers.  Some are probably antique and some probably vintage.  To start with - the first photograph shows 9 hydrometers.  I broke the 3rd hydrometer from the right durning photographing.  The broken hydrometer does not appear in any of the following photos.  Moral - these instruments are damn fragile and must be shipped carefully - And since they contain lead or mercury I have to ship UPS or Fedex. I think they are all useable but they do not occur in workable sets for successive measurements. They were made by serval different manufacturers.  So, plan to look at them, enjoy their beauty, and handle them carefully.  The tallest hydrometer is about 13". Four hydrometers are in their original containers, one of which is a wood cylinder tube.
