Meo's Norwood House was a prominent supper club located on the southwest corner of Harlem and Lawrence Avenues in the Norridge area of Chicago. Operating from the 1950s through the 1960s, it was a known hangout for Chicago bosses Anthony Accardo and Paul Ricca, who often held meetings at a corner table at the club.  (The Meos also owned the mob-favorite Villa Venice in Wheeling, where Sinatra performed.). The location later became the site of the Old Warsaw restaurant.

The menu's provenance traces to a single Midwestern American menu collector's estate.   The collection of menus of American restaurants and bars dates predominantly from the 1920s through the 1960s.  The menus have been meticulously stored in acid-free plastic sleeves and are supported by acid-free cardboard backings.  They are handled, packaged and shipped with utmost care.
