We are happy to offer for sale this wonderful Girard Perregaux Vintage 94 Limited Edition Hand Winding Mens Wristwatch in 18K Yellow Gold. Model reference is 2550. This watch uses a vintage caliber 2300-469 made by Girard Perregaux hence the ‘vintage limited edition’ since GP used a new-old-stock vintage movement and re-tooled it to make this watch (NOS Peseux 7000 movements). The reference 2550 was produced in limited numbers in solid 18K gold cases and it’s quite scarce. Size of the watch is 27.5mm wide without crown and 39.5mm long from lug to lug. It comes with cream classic dial with subseconds chapter and yellow gold hour markers/hands. It also comes with original Girard Perregaux alligator strap and 18K solid gold buckle. Condition-wise the watch winds and runs well but we have not tested it for timekeeping or performed any service on it. Therefore we do not offer any sort of functional guarantee for it. Buyer has the final responsibility and decision for the upkeeping and maintenance for this watch. Cosmetically the watch is in very good condition for its age and has the original plastic/acrylic crystal which has some minor surface scratches. Since the crystal is soft it can be polished without needing a replacement. The 18K solid gold case and caseback have many surface scratches but no major defect. Original Girard Perregaux alligator strap is in very good used condition with lots of usage life ahead. There is no box or paperwork, guaranteed 100% authentic. Dimensions are 27.5 X 39.5mm. The approximate gold weight of the case and buckle alone is approximately 27 grams.
