Extremely rare photo postcard showing the site of the Shoshone Dam west of Cody Wyoming. Construction of the dam started in 1905 and was completed in 1910 at a cost of $1.4M. Original height was 325 ft. At the time of its completion, it was the highest dam in the world. Name of the dam was changed to Buffalo Bill Dam in 1946.  Will ship well-protected with tracking.
