Vintage AVO Valve Characteristic Meter, believed to be the Mk II model, made in England by Automatic Coil Winder & Electrical Equipment Co. Ltd., London, S.W.1.

A classic piece of British test equipment used for testing valves / vacuum tubes from vintage radios, TVs and audio equipment. It has the original AVO analogue meter, multiple valve sockets under the lid, and the usual selector controls for filament, anode, screen, grid and leakage testing.

I am not an expert in valve testers and do not have the knowledge or valves needed to test it properly. Because of that, it is being sold as parts/spares -

* Original AVO badge and meter present
* Multiple valve sockets and selector switches present under lid
* Rear maker’s plate present
* Vintage used condition with age-related marks, wear and dust

As I cannot test this correctly, I cannot guarantee functionality, calibration or accuracy. It may require servicing, repair, restoration or calibration before proper use. Please view all photos carefully to judge condition and completeness.
