Offered here is a matching two-book set of R.C. Gorman’s celebrated Nudes & Foods publications, both personally signed and inscribed by the artist.

Both volumes feature handwritten inscriptions and signatures by R.C. Gorman (see photos).

Additionally, Nudes & Foods, Volume II is also signed by Virginia Dooley, the compiler and editor of the Nudes & Foods series, adding further historical and collector interest.

The spiral-bound Volume II edition was often distributed directly through galleries and events and is less commonly encountered than standard hardcover editions, making it particularly desirable.

Signatures & Provenance

These books come from a private estate, where the original owner stated that her mother personally knew R.C. Gorman and acquired these directly. The inscriptions, signature placement, and handwriting style are consistent with known authentic examples of Gorman’s signature.

No certificates of authenticity are included; however, provenance, presentation, and signature characteristics all support authenticity. Please review all photographs carefully as they are part of the description.
