2000 Honda CR 500, purchased 2005 for AF project that never happened. Dirty and everything just as I bought it. 2003 sticker last year in service at local park ( PHOTO). Started and ran just recently, bike runs good shifts 5 gears good. Bike has been started periodically but not used in over 20 years. Appears to be fairly low hour. Had original Dunlop 490 front tire PHOTO, shows how much time on bike + has original swing arm stickers, Changed front wheel because flat spot, pegs are tight, swing arm linkages are tight, shifter tight looks original, kicker good, Moto Tassanari Reeds, PC pipe, Boyeson clutch cover. Seems to be mostly stock. Compression feels stock. I bet stock bore?, rear brake master cylinder needs rebuilt. Bike should be gone through before put back in service, I have never been into it nor have I serviced this bike except new air filter, changed G box oil and added antifreeze. Front fork seal leaking, Fork anodizing is coming off some spots. Rear fender has 1 bolt eye torn. 1 radiator has slight wave bend, works fine. Bottom frame cradle has no dents or scraps. Sub frame looks to be straight Tires are dry rotted. 19 inch rear wheel. Should restore close to new condition.
