Please do not bid for this car if you expect it a minter or no imperfections because this isn’t for you! This classic car is exactly that an old car like people getting old… blemishes/dots/slight scratches/some thing work some don’t! Rust, rust bubbles, knocks etc… because I am not going to pin point and list ever single scratch, fading mr2 lines, mark etc… you get my point only anything I think is major!!!
Year 1988
MR2 White T-Bar mk1
In good condition
Starts & drives fine, although not been run much for a while.
Wheels and tyres good, brakes good
Engine good
Windows work
Tbar window unlock/lock and work fine
Lights work and pop up and down
Horn, indicators
Mirror adjusting work
Heaters work
All the operating boot, petrol etc work
Black Leather seats although some places have slight cracking in the leather but no tears/rips.
I have the original T-Bar inserts and holders that go at the back of the seats to house the T-bar glass
Spare wheel and original Toyota jack & pouch
Little niggles if your bothered as I am not and quite happily drive it as it is…
Stereo doesn’t work
Stiff sun visor
Couple slight chips in windscreen
Rust spots bubbles
And obviously not perfect body work in places but still looks stunning it’s only when you really look at any imperfections
I got this car in a sorry state in 2021… I have got some major background information, a big file service history unfortunately only from1988-2015 with its tax discs, also it’s orginal Toyato car handbook and original stock ticket from the original factory, before landing in London to it’s original owner which I have a photo copy of that too!
This car was in practical magazine on the front cover and inside with not this original reg no… a private plate being test driven by Sam Glover in 2013.
It’s Crewe Cheshire collection
It will drive but I do not take any responsibility for it being driven afterwards, as old cars are unpredictable and it hasn’t been run for a while.
You should always have recovery cover anyway driving classic cars!
