This vintage teacup and saucer is a little celebration of April — decorated with soft pink roses, sweet pea blossoms, and a pearly lusterware glow that shifts beautifully in the light. The underside of the cup reads April Sweet Pea,” suggesting it was part of a birth‑month flower series, likely from Norleans or a similar mid‑century Japanese maker.

The set is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks. The gold trim shows only the lightest touch of wear, and the cup has a slight wobble when placed on a perfectly flat surface. It displays beautifully.

Because of the age and metallic decoration, this set is best enjoyed as a decorative piece rather than for food or drink use. It’s perfect for display, gifting, or adding a soft, romantic touch to a shelf or cabinet.

One of the things I love about this work is finding pieces like this — small, sentimental treasures that were once given with care, then tucked away, and now get a chance to be loved again. It’s a gentle kind of rescue, but a meaningful one.
Thanks for looking!!!!!
