1849 $3 The Cochituate Bank note from Boston, Massachusetts.

This bank operated from 1849 until it failed in 1854. 

This note features a Vignette of Liberty seated with a large eagle. On the bottom right is a Vignette of a mechanic.

This note grades Very Good with a punch cancellation, pinholes and a chip on the left edge. 

It measures ~ 7" x 2.8".
