This is a genuine 5 gallon DeLaval steel milk can that was historically used for transporting or storing milk or cream on dairy farms. It was very well used in its prime, and you can see welded patches in the photos. For many years now, this piece has been used and displayed as an umbrella holder, and has nice felt pads adhered to the bottom (which can be removed). Please note that the can is not watertight in its current state. There is a pinhole going through the thickest part of the weld repair. It's otherwise perfect as a display piece! Weighs approximately 8.5lbs and measures 14"x12.5"x6.75".
