The Akron Zoo, officially known as the Akron Zoological Park, is a non-profit zoo located just west of downtown in Akron, Ohio, United States. The Zoo is home to over 1,000 animals representing over 100 different species and it has around 400,000 visitors annually. The Akron Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) since 1989. As an AZA member, Akron Zoo participates in breeding programs to save endangered species. The zoo is also a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums and of the American Public Gardens Association.
Coin is copper/zinc (CuZn) by weight - 2.4 to 2.6 grams.

- Elongated coins, most commonly pennies, are also known as "pressed", "rolled", "stretched", "flattened", "pinched", "smashed", and "squished", and are generally souvenirs from various tourist locations, facilities, or events.
- I use my own photos to show the actual patina, which will vary from coin to coin.
- I do respond to all e-mails, normally within 24hrs or less. If you do not get a reply please check your Junk Mail folder and any anti-spam settings. This is the number one reason for e-mail problems. The other common problem is my work schedule. :(
