This 1965 Conn 22B Victor (unlike the contemporary 22B students models) was built as a pro level horn. It has a mix of lacquer and nickel. Most notably the valves are nickel which makes for a cool look. The horn is fully functional. I've played it in big band and r&b/hip hop settings and it played great.
The case is probably an Olds case from the look of it although I imagine you would want to use your own case. No mouthpiece is included because it didn't come with one and I also figure you are probably going to use something specific because you are an experienced player. On the other hand it could be great starter horn that would last for many years.
The lacquer and nickel plating for sure have some dings but still looks pretty good for a 60 year old horn. Some minor dents too but nothing that affected playable in my opinion.
I checked historic details of this horn with Christine Derksen who runs the Conn Loyalist website. Amazing depth of knowledge!
