Group of Vintage STANLEY Plane Blades
With bonus original Mailing Envelope as found !
All 3 marked STANLEY PAT.AP'L. 19.92
Pictures of blades correspond left to right w/sizes, etc. as follows:
Largest one: 2 3/8" wide cut - approx. 6 1/2" long
Medium: 2" wide cut - approx. 6 1/8" long
Smallest: 2" wide cut - approx. 5 3/4" long
All 3 found in the original STANLEY mailer "THE TOOL BOX OF AMERICA" from New Britain, CONN.
They show age/use wear of course as shown in pictures - no damage though or signs of abuse.
I didn't want to mess with the "as found" finish - leaving that to the carpenter/collector's discretion.
All 3 cutting edges look good as shown - doesn't look like any were ever chipped/resharpened.
Sorry, I'm not a "plane person" - I don't know what No. Plane they were intended for - hope you do !
