1861 $1 The Egg Harbor Bank note from Egg Harbor City, New Jersey.
This short-lived bank only operated from 1860 until it failed in 1861.
This note features a Vignette of three dogs hunting a stag above the bank title. On the lower left, an Indian maiden stands by the river. An eagle is perched on a patriotic shield on the lower right. A "ONE" protector in green is printed near the bottom.
This note grades Very Good / Fine with pinholes (mostly on the left) and some tiny internal splits.
It measures ~ 7" x 3".
