It is stamped "925" and "real silver" on the ends of the clasp. There also appears to be a maker's mark.
It is a vintage piece.
This piece features nice earthy-looking red and black beads, and one sterling silver bead that is ribbed. The red beads may be made of some kind of nut, and the black beads might be a type of rock.
The design is asymmetrical and fun to look at!
The piece is in wonderful
condition. The clasp is magnetic and pulls apart. It is very strong
and will stay put while you are wearing the piece!
To open the
necklace, grasp the clasp "ball" between your fingers and gently slide the clasp
halves apart. Do this rather than holding on to the strands to try to
"pull" it apart.
To close the necklace, bring the two halves
together. It's very simple and it sure beats having to open and close a
traditional clasp!
Ready to help you express your "off beat" style!
Length: 19 and 5/8 inches.
