An incredible species of stag beetle that exhibits the most exaggerated mandible to body ratio of any insect. This phenomenon, together with its brushed metallic bronze exoskeleton, gives the overall design an evocative feel of ancient machinery.

Though not an extremely uncommon Indonesian species, specimens used are only rare giants exceeding 8 cm in length.
