Vintage Sharp DX-660 Compact Disc Player (1987, Made in Japan)

Unit powers on and reads discs quickly. Audio output is clear and both channels work.

Playback is generally stable, but there is occasional skipping (also reacts to tapping the top), so it may need further adjustment or service for perfect operation.

I cleaned the laser lens and lightly serviced the mechanism (cleaned and regreased rails/gears). This improved performance but did not completely eliminate the occasional skip.

Cosmetic condition is good overall with normal signs of age. See photos for details.

Includes:
- CD player unit
- Attached power cord

Outputs:
- Standard RCA left/right audio outputs

Video included showing playback in action.

Sold as-is due to intermittent skipping, but fully functional and a great candidate for restoration or use as-is.

Note: The disc tray door occasionally sticks when opening/closing but functions with use. May benefit from further cleaning or lubrication.

Thanks!
