This watch you are bidding on is running and keeping great time, as a limited sangamo special Ruby and sapphire movement should do! This is the 60 hour version, only around 8,000 of these watches were made.

It is a railroad grade watch on any line!!! Lol. It is a 17 size 23 jewel stunner of a watch.

Its jewels are ruby and sapphire that are in raised gold settings that are screwed in.

It is a lever set watch. It is a false center bridge movement. Double roller, and has a beautiful gold train wheels that make the movement even better to stair at for hours at a time!

The mainspring is a sixty hour power reserve in a polish, Jeweled motor barrel housing.

Adjusted to temperature and 6 positions.

The hands are very unique and limited to only the sangamo special, they are blued kite or diamond hands. The dial is a heavy Gothic double sunk porcelain dial with the curved Illinois and arrows out. The dial has a chip out of the lower corner around the 7 o'clock mark.s couple faint hairlines as well.

The 14k green gold filled case does have signs it was used at some point in the past. No brazing that I can see, but definitely some wear and light scuffs.
