Incredible sounding Yamaha CR-840 vintage receiver. I would conservatively rate this an 8 out of 10. Front panel and knobs are excellent, there is a mark on the cabinet which I show in photo.

The ?adapter? switch does not engage, but I believe this was for 4-channel? - does not effect the operation of the receiver in any way. All functions AM, FM, Phono, Aux work, switches etc. work perfectly.

** An external Bluetooth receiver is included which will allow you to connect your phone or other device and run it through the Aux or Tape inputs.

Following services were performed;

     - Power supply recapped. Main caps are original high quality Nichicon and test as new

     - New thermal sil-pads installed on main amplifier output devices 

     - Speaker protect relay removed, contacts inspected, polished and DeOxited

     - Volume, Bass, Treble, Balance, Input Selector, Speaker selector all cleaned DeOxited.

     - Regulator transistors removed and new thermal Sil-Pads installed on pwr supply

     - Recapped Amplifier board

     - Recapped Tuner board

     - Recapped Phono board

     - Reset DC offset to factory spec.
