This is a BRAND NEW - Vintage American Optical Weld-Cool No. 274 Gold Mirror Shade 12 Lens, with WC 12 on the back. 

I bought this back in early 80s but never used this lens.  There are no scratches, cracks, breaks and gold has not been removed or replaced.   This is Glass, cool blue lens.  Package shows revision 3/80 and is the original package. 

Due to smudging and lighting, I tried to get the best pictures I could.
