Description:  This item is a fully restored mid-century modern Glo-Hill Barmates bar set and stand that was made in Canada in the 1950s. The utensils and stand are lustrous chrome-plated steel with marbled cranberry red Bakelite handles. The stand is also made from chrome-plated steel and matching marbled cranberry red celluloid. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being New/Mint, I'd conservatively rate this set a 9.5 as it looks like new with only a few small signs of previous use. I restored this set to give to a friend who unexpectedly passed away. It is in amazing condition and will make a great conversation piece next time you entertain at home.

Founded in Montreal in 1945, the Glo-Hill Company manufactured high-quality home entertaining barware items under the brand name Barmates that were sold by high-end retailers. These items included stunning sets of bar tools, cocktail shakers, and pitchers with chrome finishes and Bakelite handles and accents.
