Origami evolved with the invention of durable and beautiful Japanese paper, symbolizing the freedom of expression to create anything from paper. We've infused that spirit and craftsmanship into G-SHOCK.
Its unique design meticulously recreates origami's characteristics down to the finest details, from the bezel to the band. The bezel and band feature two distinctive dotted patterns representing origami's signature “valley folds” and “mountain folds,” finished with a texture inspired by washi paper. The backlight illumination and case back feature a crane motif, a quintessential symbol of origami, expressing the infinite possibilities born from a single sheet of paper.
In keeping with the tradition of origami as a Japanese art form, we also focused on the production location, ensuring it is Made in Japan. The packaging is also specially designed.
