Hands Across the World is a collectible doll series from The Ashton-Drake Galleries, created by the late award-winning Master Doll Artist Dianna Effner. This international collection features young children from different countries, designed to represent universal friendship and cultural heritage.

 Abbey, a little girl from Ireland, shares this happy thought of universal friendship as she holds her special Puppy and Irish Setter

She is the inspired creation of award-winning Master Doll Artist, Dianna Effner, and the seventh issue in her very first international doll collection exclusively from Ashton-Drake called Hands Across the World. It introduces you to each doll completely handcrafted and costumed to perfection.

They are dedicated to making the world a better place…and you can help as a portion of the proceeds of this collection will be donated to children’s charities in an effort to provide assistance to children in need.


This adorable Ashton-Drake Galleries porcelain doll named Abbey from Ireland  is a charming addition to any collection. Abbey is dressed in a vintage-inspired green outfit, complete with a green skirt and cozy vest. Her red hair is complemented by a cute bow.

I purchased the entire set that was available there are 14 dolls listed separately ,all have no COA but have the hang tags, accessories  and stands where appropriate 

Artisan Craftsmanship: Most dolls in this line are meticulously handcrafted from artisan resin and hand-painted to achieve lifelike facial features. Some editions, like Aleksandra, are also available in porcelain.

Size & Display: These dolls are typically small-scale, ranging from 4 ½  to 6 ½  inches in height.

Purchased from the original owner a local fellow doll collector 

that curated a museum in her home,for local school children 

up until the 1980`s These dolls were from her personal collection and not part of the Doll museum ,briefly displayed ,have been stored now for years
