Once fully cured (after 7days), the coating becomes inert and safe for aquatic life:
Safe for fish and plants after full cure
Allow minimum 7 days curing time before filling
Do not introduce fish until fully cured
Touch Dry: 20-30 minutes
Recoat Time: 12–24 hours
Full Cure: 7 days
Thinners: T1000
Coverage: Approx. 8m² per litre. This does not account for the method of application or wastage.
This coating is designed for submerged use
Areas exposed above the waterline may be subject to UV exposure
Prolonged UV exposure can result in chalking or colour fading over time
For best performance, ensure the coating remains in constant contact with water
Not recommended for surfaces where water is not continuously present (e.g. dry water features or splash zones)
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contamination
Apply 2 coats for best results
Avoid application in poor weather or damp conditions
Stir thoroughly before use, as the product is heavily pigmented and separation may occur
Colour variation before mixing (e.g. green appearing blue) is normal
Mix for 3–5 minutes using a slow-speed drill mixer or palette knife
Ensure paint from the bottom of the tin is fully incorporated
Do not use unsuitable tools (e.g. sticks or screwdrivers)
Add thinners after mixing, if required, and stir well
