Up for sale is a long, 1920-30s, Art Deco era sautoir necklace of

blue Venetian glass wedding cake beads with foiled glass bead

spacer beads and enhanced with blue silk tassel that is original to the piece.

MARKINGS: None but these beads Made in Murano, Venice, Italy around

the 1920-30s era.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: This beautiful necklace is made in robins egg blue

Venetian glass with applied blue, pink, red and gold glass enhancements.

There are 51 blue beads that measure approximately 13mmin .

The foiled spacer beads measure approximately 4-5mm.

The beads are hand knotted between each spacer and blue

bead on the original string.

It has a silk tassel measuring approximately 5 1/2"and has

a 29" from the top to the bottom of the tassel.

This necklace is very long and could be placed around the neck several times.

CONDITION: The necklace is in very good, original condition for its age.

I did see a few imperfections on some of the blue beads where the applied glass design is missing but only with a loupe can it be seen. The tassel is a little discolored but is the original. The stringing material is very secure.
