The knobs are covered with the Logitech rubberized coating that can (and should) be cleaned off with isopropyl alcohol. I have not done this, leaving to the lucky buyer that happy task.

As this is a used or vintage item, there is no warranty, either expressed or implied. Logitech no longer supports this device, but there is an active online community of enthusiasts who can provide guidance and support. In other words, you should be aware that mysqueezebox server has closed and this player will require a different server, which you can set up yourself, to continue to function as designed.
