I went to help clean out my parents’ home last Fall.
Six of us moved in in the 1940’s. Three of us are going through the house in
the 2020’s.
My father was a collector of Confederate money, State
Bank notes and private bank notes during the early 1930’s to the early 1960’s.
I did not know this until I found written records of transactions, in addition
to hundreds of Confederate notes.
Since I do not know how to grade Confederate notes, I
sent some to PCGS and will be offering them for sale now.
The reason I picked PCGS is because of their
consistency over time in grading of coins relative to the other services. I am
currently unfamiliar with any of the paper grading services.
