The JL085A is a modular, hot‑swappable power supply unit designed for use in compatible HPE/Aruba network switches (such as the Aruba 2930M, 3810M, and X371 series). It converts standard 100–240 V AC mains power into 12 V DC at up to 250 W output, supplying the DC power required for the internal electronics of the switch.
Features:
- ⚡ 250 W power output at 12 V DC — enough to power the switch’s internal systems (but not PoE loads)
- Universal AC input (100–240 V) — works with global power standards.
- Hot‑swappable / modular design — lets you replace or add the PSU without interrupting switch operation (when the chassis supports it).
- Redundancy support — can be installed as a primary or secondary PSU for backup power in enterprise setups.
