Player notes: Bryce was a spectacular college player…1st team All American… Heisman Trophy winner… SEC Offensive Player of the Year… Lead the SEC in passing yardage and passing touchdowns… he also won a National Championship in 2020… Elite… He was drafted 1st overall in the 2023 NFL Draft by Carolina to be the face of the franchise… and we can be honest, he was not great in 2023… but to be fair, he didn’t have much help…. Ownership is dysfunctional… the O-line wasn’t good… the Receivers didn’t help (who even were they again?)… the run game didn’t take the pressure off. This is a dangerous situation for a young quarterback.. some lose their confidence, or get the yips in the pocket… so 2024 was important, and while it didn’t start particularly well, the final third of the season was actually pretty exciting. Timing was good, leadership was good, team confidence improved, and there were finally some good wins. Then came the off-season, and the Panthers drafted Tet McMillan, the best wide receiver in the draft… Then came 2025, and All of a sudden, Panthers fans could see it… in 2025, Bryce was clutch, like really clutch… the team began winning and believing. The run game was great. Tet won Offensive Rookie of the Year… and the Panthers made the playoffs for the first time since 2017. the tide has finally turned. The future is very bright… a few more pieces and Bryce may get a Ring. .
