About This Piece
Offered here is an original United Artists stereo pressing of the The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (catalog number UAS 5172), signed in black felt-tip marker by all three principal cast members: Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach — who added his iconic character inscription "Tuco" beneath his name.
Sergio Leone's 1966 Spaghetti Western masterpiece is widely considered one of the greatest films ever made, and this landmark soundtrack — featuring Ennio Morricone's immortal score — remains among the most recognized and collected in cinema history. A fully authenticated, triple-signed copy featuring all three leads is extraordinarily rare.
Each signature is placed on the front cover in a coordinated manner consistent with an in-person multi-signing session: Eastwood across the yellow field near the printed title; Van Cleef in the mid-right area over the darker illustrated region; Wallach in the lower right quadrant with his "Tuco" inscription directly beneath.
The Signers
| Signer | Character | Born | Age at Film (1966) | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Clint Eastwood | "Blondie" — The Good | May 31, 1930 | 36 | Living · Age 95 |
| Lee Van Cleef | Angel Eyes — The Bad | January 9, 1925 | 41 | Died Dec. 16, 1989 · Age 64 |
| Eli Wallach | Tuco — The Ugly | December 7, 1915 | 50 | Died June 24, 2014 · Age 98 |
Collector's Note: Lee Van Cleef passed away in 1989 and Eli Wallach in 2014. This means no new triple-signed items from this cast can ever be created. Every piece in existence is a finite, irreplaceable artifact of Hollywood history.
Forensic Authentication — SAC Certificate #SAC005737
This item has undergone a full forensic autograph authentication examination by the Scientific Authentication Company (SAC), one of the most rigorous independent document examination firms in the field. The examination was conducted in February 2026 and returned an unequivocal AUTHENTIC finding for all three signatures.
The SAC Forensic Report includes detailed side-by-side comparative imaging of each questioned autograph against multiple certified exemplars for all three signers. The report confirms no simulation artifacts, tremor instability, retracing, or hesitation clustering — markers characteristic of forgery — were observed in any of the three signatures.
The conclusion across all ten advanced forensic criteria: no evidence of modern reproduction, no shared mechanical pattern, instrument age compatibility confirmed, multi-signature structural independence confirmed.
