Carefully sourced antique clocks, sympathetically restored and honestly described
A charming small antique brass carriage timepiece dating to around the turn of the 20th century, with a clean white chapter ring, black Roman numerals, bevelled glass panels and a visible platform escapement beneath the top viewing window.
This is a decorative and very usable example with real age and presence. The brass case has not been over-restored and retains a mellow, honest patina that suits the clock beautifully. It also carries an old paper repairer or retailer label to the underside for Schultz of Kentish Town, a lovely surviving detail that adds period character and a sense of story.
A neat and attractive antique timepiece for shelf, desk, bookcase or study, offering that classic carriage clock look in a compact format.
This clock has been fully serviced and is running well.
As with all antique mechanical clocks, minor variation in timekeeping should be expected compared with modern quartz clocks.
I specialise in antique and vintage mechanical clocks, selecting pieces for their quality, character and decorative appeal. Each clock is assessed individually and, where stated, fully serviced so it can be enjoyed with confidence. My approach is simple: careful restoration, honest description and proper packing.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description. This is an antique mechanical clock and will show signs of age, handling and gentle wear acquired over many decades.
Your clock will be packed with great care using a robust multi-layer packing process to help ensure safe arrival. I have extensive experience shipping antique clocks within the UK and internationally.
