Putting up for sale this wonderful original Boris Vallejo oil painting. Boris created this work for his 1987 Fantasy Olympics Calendar. The image, titled “Shotput”, was for the month of March. The image was also used for #54 of the Boris Series 2: The Fantasy Continues collectible card series released by Comic Images in 1992. It was subsequently used for the Best of Boris All-Chromium Card series as image #79, published in 1994. Medium is Oil on illustration board with an image size of 22“ x 26”. Framed under acrylic. The frame has some dings and scrapes but is in overall good condition.
