1966 US stereo pressing vinyl LP of The Beatles' album "Revolver" in shrink wrap. Some consider this to be The Beatles finest album. This appears to be a contract pressing (RCA ?) based on the ring near the outer perimeter of the label. The matrix numbers in the run out groove appear to be :
Side 1 : ST 1- 2576 X10 54 There also appears to be a faint A
Side 2: ST 2- 2576 - W7 ? Also appears to be a faint B
Some of the matrix markings are faint and hard to read.
This album has been play tested and plays nicely without any major disturbances. In bright light, this only exhibits very slight sleeve scratches and nothing deep.
Jacket is still in factory shrink and has been taken care of over the decades. Only a slight tanning near the mouth opening which is often seen. There are a few minor breaks in the shrink on front and back.
We believe this to be a rarer pressing and given the nice condition, have priced it accordingly. This is a keeper and a nice play copy for sure.
This does not come with a factory inner sleeve but those can be sourced here on EBay. Comes with generic white paper inner sleeve.
Record will be housed in an additional resealable crystal clear outer sleeve and packaged outside jacket in a proper record shipping container with cardboard inners for safe transit.
