For sale is a Peugeot 106 GTI non sunroof project.

Parts bought for it:

Engine loom

Remanufactured Unlocked ECU

New coil pack

New CPS sensor

Work required from the top of my head:

Welding to the rear chassis/ front floor sections/ inner arches and most likely more

Interior trim parts here and there missing (see interior pictures)

Exterior body trim not in good condition

Bonnet needs replacing

Drivers door mech needs adjusting as the door handle doesnt open it so well

engine bay wiring needs tidying up and mounting in places and posible repairs

headlight needs replacing

front bumper has a hole

Scorpion exhaust needs properly mounting up as its only been loosley mounted on

Ecu mounting bracket missing

Fuel sender float arm sticking (roughly 20L of fuel in the tank)

Oil sender not connected up as the plug for some reason wouldnt go on

Needs / missing a Lambda sensor

There will no doubt be a lot more work and this is a very big project. I bought this originally with the idea of getting it back on the road, as it had been stood for many years, but it's been standing and very little has been done. The car had stood so long, that the fuel had to be drained as it had gone bad and the car wouldn't start on it. 20L of fresh fuel was put into the car last week and it runs and drives. It's missing its maf sensor and lambda sensor, so expect it to not run great. it does tick over and does drive and in my own personal opinion it pulls well all things considering. If revved hard it does blow out some grey/blue smoke on tick over it appears to be no smoke or very little that its hard to see. I cannot hear any knocks or bangs from the engine, so i consider that to be a good sign but viewing is a must.

This is a very big restoration project and its being sold on the basis that it needs a full restoration and will need parts all over. Or maybe this car could be used for parts but thats for the buyer to decide.

It does come with some spare parts as pictured but they're included as spares or repair and non working:

single plug ecu (was told it was unlocked but i believe it to be locked)

Single plug Citroen Saxo VTS loom (thats what it was sold to me as and a previous owner cut the loom nearly in half but with some time and know how, you could wire them all back together)
