I started making devil sticks in 1992 w/ my friend kool bud when we were both students at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  We traveled the dead & festival circuit for a few years together playing and perfecting "the kind".

A business called Funn & Frolic - USA / 4frolic.com grew out of those days. Funn & Frolic and my involvement and relationship with the business continually evolves from year to year. One thing that does not change is my approach to making devil sticks.

Aside from small technical modifications, I make devil stixx(tm) devil sticks the same way I did when I started...one at a time right here on Martha's Vineyard - where I have been located, for the most part, since Ann Arbor.

Devil sticks are a great pastime at the beach, on a camping trip, or simply out in the backyard with the tunes blasting :)
