Compatibility: Ideal for connecting copper crimp rings made to ASTM F1807 standard (Sioux Chief, Watts, Nibco and other brands) with crimp style brass and poly(PPSU) PEX fittings manufactured to ASTM F1807/F877 or F2159 standards respectively (Everhot, Nibco, Watts, Apollo, etc.).
Secure Connection: Connections may be checked for security using the Go/No-Go Gauge (included). Each clamp ring shall be gauged to ensure that it has been crimped properly and for the accuracy of the tool.

IWS-1234W PEX Crimp Dual Tool allows you to make a secure connection to 1/2 in. and 3/4 in. PEX with copper crimp rings. The tool crimps the two most popular sizes with one-tool and no interchangeable dies. The tool also includes a Go/No-Go Gauge for gauging crimps. The tool is factory calibrated and all crimps conform to the ASTM F1807 standard.

Quick Guide

With the pipe, fitting, and crimp ring in assembly position: Pull back on the upper, moving handle and hold both handles closed with jaws in full open position.
Position jaws around the crimp ring. Gently release hand pressure on the moving handle to let the jaws close properly and squarely over the crimp ring.
Firmly press the handles together to complete the crimp. DO NOT CRIMP TWICE.
Pull back on the moving handle to release the tool from the crimp ring.
