This antique twine or string holder is in very good condition but does have the natural wear which is all part of its age and patina.  This piece of treen ware is possibly from Europe, maybe Wales or France.  One of the nice things about this piece is that is cold still be sed to hold string or twine for use today.  It measures approximately 5 inches tall and has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches.  I am not sure of its exact age but I would say it is most likely pre 1920.
