Product Details:
Material: Primarily high-quality Bosnian Maple, often naturally seasoned for 5 to 20 years to ensure stability and tone.
Size: Standard 4/4 (full size) with a typical foot width of 41mm.
Quality: Unfitted or Blank, meaning the feet and top curve must be Fitted (carved).
Wood Selection & Aging: 1Star:This is Teller's basic student model.
It uses standard Bosnian maple that has been seasoned for a shorter
period. The wood is often slightly softer, making it more forgiving but
less resonant.
The grain may be wider and less uniform. It is often chosen for student
instruments because it is easier for beginners or students to practice
carving on.
1-Star: Tends to produce a warmer, softer tone. It is ideal for "sharp" or overly bright student violins where a softer bridge can help mellow out the sound.
