For sale is a pre-owned rare Swiss Camy mechanical men's watch, likely produced in the mid/late 1950s.
Gold plated case and stainless steel case back with golden Camy emblem. 
Swiss Camy mechanical movement, based on AS 1703, 21 jewels.


Original Camy-signed silver-colored concentric sunburst dial in very good to excellent condition, few early signs of aging.
Hands in very good shape, a number of light surface scratches on the plexi crystal.
Date indicator at 3h, semi quickset via 12-7-12.
"Orient"-signed gold plated crown.


Yellow gold plated case & stainless steel case back with golden Camy emblem. A number of light surface scratches, but very well preserved overall.
Bezel and lugs in very good cosmetic condition.

The watch is winding, setting and running well.
It is currently keeping very good vintage time (ca. +11 sec per day, based on a recent 24hr time check).

Comes on a brown leather strap with neutral gold plated buckle.


Measurements are ca. 35mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 43.5mm lug-to-lug. Lug width ca. 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
Men's watches marketed in the 50s and 60s regularly featured case diameters between 31mm and 35mm, while diameters between 36mm -38mm were considered 'oversize' or 'jumbo'.
