This a very rare, highly collectible, Vintage 1930’s Edwin M. Knowles China Co. 13 inch diameter Serving Platter in the “Yorktown” shape, described as Red but more like a burnt Orange in my opinion. It is a beautiful and unique piece of Art Deco-inspired dinnerware. Union made in the United States circa 1938, this round platter features a vibrant orange color that adds a pop of flair to any dining table and a beautiful art deco design (reminds me of Fiestaware). With a diameter of 13 inches, handle to handle, and 12 inches not including the handles. This beautiful piece of history is both functional and decorative. Printed with the brand's backstamp, this glossy finished platter is a true vintage treasure from The Edwin M. Knowles China Co.

In excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips, minor signs of wear consistent with age.
