Patricia Tourret (1929–2018) was a British illustrator and comic artist whose career spanned newspapers, girls’ comics, and children’s educational publishing. She studied at the Harrow Art School, working as a freelance artist from the 1950s onwards. Patricia contributed illustrations to a range of British publications during a vibrant period for mid-20th-century comics and print media, though best known as the co-creator and artist of the stylish 1960s newspaper strip Tiffany Jones.

Patricia was the eldest of three sisters, and her siblings Gwen Tourret and Shirley Tourret were also illustrators and comic artists. Together they form an interesting chapter in British comics history, with multiple members of one family working professionally in the field. I have acquired a body of early work by Patricia Tourret from around the mid 20th century; ink and watercolour illustrations, life drawings, lithographs and etchings.
