Beautiful antique brass double inkwell desk set featuring ornate Rococo-style detailing and sculpted cherub figures. Likely dating to the early–mid 20th century, this striking piece combines decorative artistry with classic writing desk functionality.
The inkwell includes two hinged lidded ink pots, a central letter holder rack, and a pen rest, all surrounded by intricate scrollwork, floral motifs, and charming cherub accents. Even the underside of the pen rest features decorative relief work, showing the craftsmanship put into this piece.
The brass displays a rich natural patina with traces of original red-toned paint on the lids and base, adding depth and character from age. The hinges remain secure and functional.
Please note: the glass ink cups are missing, which is common for antique inkwell sets and does not detract from its beauty as a display piece.
This piece has not been cleaned or polished to preserve the authentic antique finish.
