Here is a new in the box reproduction of the stock oil tank as used on Harley Big Twin Panheads from 1958 to 1964.
This type could be used on any Big Twin from '36-up, and it was basically the same as a '40 to '57 rigid frame Big Twin except this one has battery flags welded on the back. Also you will notice the lower mounting bracket tab with black finish as well.
This tank would also work on any project bike using similar components. This oil tanks holds a 6V tall H-2 style battery and has two tabs pre-welded to secure battery rod set. This item comes in a black gloss finish. The dipstick may arrive in chrome, but the tank has never been chromed. If your project calls for a black painted tank, this is the one for you!
